When recycling business Transpacific AllBrite came up with the concept of a truck that that had the capability to hold kerbside recycling materials in separate compartments, they went to ATI to make it a reality.

Former chief engineer Dick Brougham says AllBrite approached ATI to build five prototype trucks and trailers, and design and build the product conveyors and platforms for the depots at AllBrite’s five branches around the country. A big challenge with this job was the huge time pressures, and Allbrite relied heavily on ATI to build the trucks quickly once contracts with local councils were finalised, says Dick.
